I am the President + Provost of Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design.

RMCAD is a premier art and design college in the heart of Denver. RMCAD has a rich selection of BFA programs: Animation, Game Art, Graphic Design and Interactive Media, Illustration, Interior Design, and Fine Arts. And, in 2010, RMCAD will launch its first online programs - a BFA in Interior Design and a BFA in 3D Animation. RMCAD Faculty are some of the best in the country, and are all practicing artists, designers, and scholars.

There are many unique things about RMCAD, but I want to mention just a few. First, the campus is set in a beautiful, historic and rustic atmosphere. The campus site was established in 1904 as the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society, for patients with tuberculosis. The fresh, dry air and sunshine were therapeutic and at the time, the only known treatment. The buildings have been preserved, and now constitute the campus facilities. Second, the curriculum and quality of education are simply superior. As a small, private college with a strong commitment to the Liberal Arts, the educational experience is first-rate. RMCAD not only has regional accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission, but also the prestigious National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) accreditation. Finally, the community culture is unbeatable - small classes, a nurturing Faculty, community events and activities all create the close culture that we call a "community of creatives."
